The WORK2025 conference invites abstracts reflecting the theme, “Work in the Era of Unruly AI.” This theme will be explored through diverse perspectives across the conference streams. When submitting your abstract, please select the stream most relevant to your work.

Call for abstracts
WORK2025 is a hybrid conference, presentations take place onsite in Turku and online in a virtual conference platform. Abstracts are presented as oral presentation or posters. Guidelines will be published later in the Spring.
Important dates
- 20 February –Abstract submission deadline
- 10 March – Conference registration opens
- 10 April – Abstract acceptance notifications
- 10 June – Early bird registration deadline & deadline for the abstract presenters to register as conference participants
- 25 June – Stream programme publication on the conference website
Submission guidelines
- All submissions must be sent via the Oxford Abstracts online submission system. Register to Oxford Abstracts to submit (link above).
- Answer all the questions on the form and click ”submit” to complete the abstract submission.
- After submission, you can sign in again if needed and amend your submission until the final submission deadline.
- Note that uncompleted abstracts will not be reviewed.
- The abstract should be written in English, body text limited to 800 words. Please proofread your text.
- Title should be written with capital letters
- References are not required, but if you wish to include them, please note that they must be included within the word limit.
- List all authors names, note that affiliations should contain institution, city, and country. List authors and affiliations, also mark the presenting author(s) (tick box).
- Acceptance information will be sent to the submitter only. Possible later correspondence and general information will be sent to the presenting author as well (if submitter is not the presenter), email requested on the submission form. Remember to inform aboaevents@certia.fi in case you wish to change the presenting author.
- Accepted abstracts will be published on the virtual conference platform and in the Book of abstracts (PDF).
The Book of abstracts will also be published on the conference website after the conference.
Review
- Abstracts will be subject to blind review.
